1.0 My approach to user privacy and data protection:
My website is compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR). This means that this site is probably also compliant with the data protection and user privacy laws used by many other countries.
2.0 When and Why I collect Personal information
I provide a newsletter to people who have subscribed and confirmed their willingness for me to keep thier details for the purposes of sending them the newsletter.
In addition, I collect personal information for the following reasons:
2.1 Site visitation tracking
I use Google Analytics to track visitor traffic to the site. This enables me to see the demographics of who visits my site, the technology used and similar information that allows me to understand how my web pages can be improved.
Although Google Analytics records data such as location, and various device and browser details, none of this information identifies you personally.
If you disable cookies on your internet browser this will prevent Google from tracking any part of your visit to this website.
2.2 My blog
If you add a comment to any of my posts, your name and email address (as entered by you) will be saved, together with your computer’s IP address and the time/ date that you submitted the comment. This information is used to confirm you are the contributor of the comment and is not given to any of the third party. Your name may be shown on the website page as the commenter and if the supplied email address is linked to a Gravatar account, your Gravatar photo will also be displayed.
2.3 Comments
Your comment and associated information will stay on this site until:
i) I remove the comment or
ii) remove the blog or
iii) you request that I remove your comment.
You need to get parental/guardian consent before posting a comment on my blog if you are under 16 years of age.
2.4 Contact forms and email links
If you contact me using the forms on my website, none of your data will be given to a third party.

This website is hosted by BlueHost in the USA. Please contact them directly for up to date information about their security protocols.
4.0 My third party data processors
I use a number of third parties to process personal data on my behalf. These third parties have been carefully chosen and all of them comply with the legislation set out in section 2.0. These third parties are based in the USA and are EU-U.S Privacy Shield compliant.

5.0 Data Breaches
